Ahoy mateys! While I was at Disney I got my makeup done at the Pirates League, which will be closing in July. I got that scary lookin cutlass, scabbard, and a medallion. I‘m sitting in Captain Jack Sparrow‘s throne chair in his secret room, with treasure! The 3D printed Mickey ears are the POTC movie logo, from Etsy. I had a great time pillaging and plundering!

I went in the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse while in my Disney trip; here‘s a picture of the kitchen room; it was decorated in ship/nautical style!

I read Robinson Crusoe, inspired by a real maroon. It wasn‘t as epic as movies or TV shows portray it, but the takeaway is there was a lot of goats on the island.

The book is by a fellow #RWA author; set in Michigan #MittenLitten! It‘s a novella romance with an HEA ❤️

An iconic building in the main park - Cinderella‘s castle! This story is the basis for Marissa Meyer‘s Lunar Chronicles series; first book Cinder. I LOVE this series, totally worth the listen!
