We are already in 1st grade. Leja is learning to read. When she comes home from school, she immediately picks up her textbook and practises reading. Otherwise she is still at the beginning where she reads 3 and 4 letters together. But I am so proud of her. As a reward for being so diligent, we take her sledding on Saturday.

Jess861 Love this! Our youngest is in JK (Canada) and just turned 5. She has all her letters down and reading is next - she actually enjoys reading (unlike our eldest at this age) and I'm so excited to enjoy the reading journey with her!! 1mo
