1-4 I helped my granddaughter set up her classroom. She‘s worked with 1st grade for several years but is assigned to 5th grade now in a different room. I especially love the way she set up a reading corner by the window.
5-wouldn‘t be a proper week without an appearance by Little Bear. He loves to swing!

Love Michael Jackson, Doobie Bros, and some of the 60s songs in there which I already forgot. I grew up on Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, N Young, Buffalo Springfield, Beatles, Dave Clark 5, Bob Dylan, McCartney, George Harrison, and of course all the Motown groups-they were classy.

I read this with my granddaughter this week - we love all the cupcake flavors the bakers come up with, and the puns too. There are chapter books as well as GNs.

I am loving these Amish mysteries so much. This one too is twisty and riveting. Chief of Police Kate Burkholder grew up Amish and she‘s a perfect fit for keeping the peace in Painters Mill, an Amish community in Ohio

I‘ve been working on this for several months. All the other Keillor books I‘ve read were wonderful and clever and funny. This was published originally in 1979, so a lot of the references were outdated. But it still has its sparkling moments here and there😊

Setting is 1950s in Washington DC during the McCarthy era, in a female-only boarding house. Good but without the compelling suspense of Quinn‘s other HF novels. Great characterizations.

I have liked other McCarthy books a lot more. This was written for a TV movie and tells the story of the Greggs and the McEvoys (the wealthy and the unfortunate). A tragedy

I always wondered about airships..especially what it looked like inside. (Google will show you that) Lawson tells its story with a villain and heroes, up to the moment of explosion. (The luxury of a diner and a smoking room on board seemed unwise and hapless even for the late 1930s.)

I sucked at this. BC after the early 1980s most popular music did not appeal to me. My all time favorites were Tony Bennett, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, early Neil Young, early Elton John, Beatles, Beach Boys, Tears for Fears, Vince Guaraldi, Streisand, Celine Dion, and Motown sound.
