#WondrousWednesday
@Eggs (thanks for the tag! 😘
I've been out of town, so I'm a tad behind.
1. If I helped to make one child a better reader and writer after teaching for 28 years, I would happily say #myworkisdone.
2. My idea everything would have been to not have had to work but to have been able to use my teaching skills as volunteer at my local library, maybe helping adults learn how to read.
3. Retirement? #heckya! 🤩

bthegood I still remember my 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Vanderbrink, she helped me fall in love with learning. You may not know when and how you reach people - but you do 💝 6mo
Eggs @dabbe In reflection, it‘s not the # of years, but the quality of the relationships, the power of the word, the epiphanies—evidenced by the notes, letters, and art our students gave to us, in all their vulnerability and wonder 💭 💜 🥰 6mo
Eggs @bthegood Miss Silliman, 3rd grade, for me ~ fresh out of college, lovely, polite, read to us, fostered a safe and comfortable learning environment, solidified my love of reading🩷! Magical ✨💫 6mo
dabbe @bthegood So true. I remember my 4th-grade teacher, Ms. Littrell, for the same reason. Thanks for reminding me. 💙🩵💙 6mo
