Eight generations. The events in one have repercussions for many generations to come. I've been actively trying to read books written by people of color, especially women. This was a really hard book to read, but it told an important and engaging story. #nursingreads

Up next for my #nursingreads. Been eyeing this book for awhile and finally caramel across the paperback the other week.

Attempting this for my next #fiction book. It's set in 1939 and present day, with characters moving between the two years. Not entirely sure I'm going to follow it on the first read. #nursingreads

Finally finished this classic. I thought it was wonderfully eerie, with a couple good twists and an ending that was satisfying. A must-read on the classics list. #nursingreads
