Dark places, indeed! I have a hard time with gore and admit I skimmed over the grisly bits. Though the topic is disconcerting while snuggling a snoozing infant, the book's structure makes it perfect for short bursts of reading while nursing. Each chapter jumps from past to present and from a different character's perspective, so I didn't feel I lost the rhythm when having to put it down again. #mommyreads #nursingwithbooks #crime
