8/10 - I feel like this was a fun side quest in reading. I love a good graphic novel. The story gives very “Heathers” vibes. I actually enjoyed it down to the plot twist. Wyatt is a witch who has escaped the fae, including the fae prince he was supposed to marry. Discovering himself in the human world as also meant the realization he is trans. When Wyatt‘s pulled back to the fae to fulfill his destiny he must confront his past, and the boy he fell in love with.

Grace thinks she has her life completely together and figured out- until she meets her wife. After one night in Las Vegas Grace wakes up to find herself married to a woman who lives on the opposite side of the country.

Grace sets out on an adventure to meet her wife again, and figure out what she wants from life. Heartbreaking, lovely and hopeful, this was a good story.

I really loved this one. It‘s 1956 in San Francisco and Chinese American Lily Hu is fascinated by male impersonator Tommy. When her friend Kath knows the club she performs at they decide to go together to see her perform.

In the middle of Chinatown and “the Red Scare,” Lily is falling in love with Kath. A beautiful historical fiction queer story.
