pickI loved this book, following 3 generations of women from #cuba all battling their own demons. I was most invested in Jeanette‘s story, as she struggled with addiction in modern-day Miami. I also found the tangential story about immigrants from #elsalvador fascinating, and liked how it linked in to the main story.
I‘m using this for #cuba, for #readingtgeamericas23, but there‘s a tiny bit of #elsalvador and #mexico in there too.
