Thinking that people are supposed to do or be anything other than what they are is like saying that the tree over there should be the sky. I investigated that and found freedom.

Everyone is a mirror image of yourself—your own thinking coming back at you.

I have been reading the Newbery Award winners and this is my third book.
Sci-fi meets folklore, a wonderful book for discussions.

Too many stickers on the beautiful cover! 😓

I will always pick up books about mobile libraries. Moose and assorted menagerie love stories and find ways to get more. All good vibes. Art style not quite my thing.

Bought for my 9 yr old niece. Great MG audiobook!

100‘s of scientists & their families are on a spaceship for a 300 yr trip to a new planet. Haley‘s Comet is going to end Earth. While on the trip everyone but Petra gets their minds wiped by a Collective bent on fixing humanities mistakes.

Petra wanted to grow up to be a story teller like her Granny. Only she remembers earth. Will her stories save humanity? Heartfelt, sad & hopeful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

A suffragist & scholar of Egyptology,Amelia Peabody is the epitome of the 1920s modern woman.Armed with her journal, umbrella(a handy weapon),& new friend Evelyn, she travels down the Nile to the architectural site of the Emerson brothers. What follows is a wild caper filled with “accidents,” unknown enemies,man-made and environmental obstacles, evil adversaries, supernatural forces,& romance.

StaceGhost I love how she talks about the evil adversary lol 6mo
