Storytelling just became a whole lot of fun! Excited to share this funny story with the little kids and tell them a story about a little dog that lost his bark! Fun for all ages and beautifully illustrated! This book makes me want to write my own! #UCFSouthLakeLAE3414summerA

Mskay Love this story! 7y

Such a cute book about a mischevious boy, Nick and a strong willed teacher, Mrs. Granger who seemed to be at odds with one another, or are they? A really good read. I enjoyed the back and forth battle between the two for it to end on a positive "note.!" #ucfsouthlakeLAE3414SummerA

I love this book. It is one of the very first ones I get to read and it kept me wondering all the time what would happen next. Surprising what Ms. Granger had written in that letter. #ucfsouthlakelae3414summera

Enjoying the breeze and finally getting to continue some reading, as the students play in the "sandbox". Where the Red Fern Grows. #UCFSouthLakeLAE3414SummerA

This book had me hooked from the beginning & I definitely recommend it. The ending wasn't what I expected, I thought Winnie would have acted differently than she did. Although I still enjoyed it! #UCFsouthlakeLAE3414SummerA

My kids love the Wimpy Kid series, so it was time for mom to see what the hype was about. Greg leads the typical life of a middle school student. He has a comical style of sharing his experiences, dodging bullies and hanging out with his friend. As an adult the book was so-so, but I can see the kid appeal. I read the first of the series, but will not continue on with the other books.
P.S. The end made me seriously gag! #UCFSouthLakeLAE3414SummerA

Mskay The book definitely has a relatable theme for kids! My son loved all of the books and now even in Middle School would read the next one when it comes out. 7y

What better way to read than by the beach? Really helps me escape reality and enjoy reading. Tucking Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt was an excellent read. Left me a little angry at the end, but overall had me hooked since the beginning. One thing I thought about is why Winnie would waste the water on the toad? Why not keep it for herself? Would love to elaborate on this!!!! #UCFsouthlakeLAE3414summerA

Mskay Right?!?? I wondered the same thing .... I am curious about what others have to say about this. 7y
meikamagda @Mskay I would love to know if she would've actually drank it when she was 17 or not... 7y

Frindle is a great book about a fifth grader, his antics and his war with his no-nonsense teacher, Mrs Granger. I've passed it on to my fourth grader (soon to be fifth) let's just hope she doesn't get any ideas! #UCFSouthLakeLAE3414SummerA

Mskay Would love to known her thoughts once she's read it! 7y

I love how the teacher is passionate about the use of words. The once antagonist, Mrs. Granger, becomes the teacher I want to be! #ucfsouthlakeLAE3414summerA

Mskay I agree - a story about the power of words and language! One of my favorites! Glad you liked it too. 7y
