marleedI had to read Beowulf in high school. It was before I knew cliff notes /spark notes were a thing and could help me decipher a story. It was when internet was part of the ether. I had no idea what I was reading. The only thing I remember all these years later was a chant the students made- Grindl‘s mother, Big Brother, same thing. (Big Brother was the student assigned nickname of our teacher.). Don‘t know what that chant meant either🤣🤣2d
