Originally a short story but Ann Rule gathered enough info on the case for a full book. It's not in Goodreads or litsys database so tagged book above is the short version and the only place I could find it to read was kindle unlimited
A love triangle set in the 1970's and how far an obsessed wrestling coach, Glynn Moore will go to have the wife of another coach, Morris Blankenbaker and manipulate a young athlete to help him

An ice cold true crime, 4 young couples murdered in the late 80's Virginia. Terrible investigative work by park rangers, local police and FBI that no doubt contributed to the murderer ever being caught.

Such a tragic story of a crime that will never be solved, this was a kindle book and the pictures were somewhat wonky plus there were many spelling errors but it was worth reading. I used the Willow filter for more of a 1950's look

Kaye Thanks for the heads up. This is one I believe I‘ve missed. I like reading about these really cold cases like this. 7y
Kaye Yea we have a few of them in our state from the 1950s. You sure feel sorry for those families that never get answers. Do you have any other books like this ? I‘m always on the lookout for some I haven‘t heard of before. Thanks. 👍🏼 7y
Kaye Yep I‘ve read 3 different ones on that case. It‘s quite intriguing. A colder case than the first one. I think it was around 1920 ? I like Troy Taylor‘s books. He picks lots of quirky topics. 7y
Kaye That‘s sad about your babysitter. There‘s a girl from our town who was a bit younger than me. Our moms were friends so we played together occasionally. She and her boyfriend were murdered the summer she graduated from HS. The police had the guy that did it but couldn‘t get enough evidence to convict him. So he‘s been a free man his entire life. That was 40 years ago. It literally killed her dad and her mom was a walking dead person. 😢 7y
