Wow this one was a rollercoaster! Lots of twists that keeps you guessing
Alex Finlay combined the true incidences of the Albuquerque, New Mexico Blockbuster massacre and the Austin, Texas I Can't Believe It's Yogurt Massacre for this Thriller. Not specifically noted but too close to home for it to be a coincidence. Great Read!
It was hard to concentrate on what may have happened to Ben when I was worried about his cat not being fed through the whole book lol
My hometown and written by an old classmate so of course a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read lol

It all Sounds like it would be Strong but it isn't, it's a Mild Relaxing Caffeine Free Tea. ☕

I may not have a Sun Down Motel where I live but the BlackWater Inn here is just as sketchy 😂 This is my second Simone St. James book and she did not disappoint ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I did use a filter and a couple of effects to get this photo the way I wanted it so it ties in with the book #bookphotography

The outer bands of Cristobal approaching us. A good reason to stay home all weekend and read
I made Pho tonight for dinner and it didn't hit me until I took this photo that it closely resembles the subject matter in my tagged book ? I recommend reading "The Troop" but maybe not while eating noodles ?
For Real...
I'm usually a Teetotaler when I read but I feel like a glass of wine tonight while reading "Lies". It's a mashup of True Lies/Mr. and Mrs. Smith, although not a Blockbuster it's still a cute little read.
☁️
Although a good read I was disappointed that the plot wasn't what I thought. More of an action packed thriller than horror.
Tis the season for 🎃 bread even though Florida is still unbearably hot ☀️
The weather today was beautiful so I went for a bike ride along the beach and found a pretty little library.
Started out a firecracker ended up a dud, that pretty much sums this book up.

This is not just another book about Jack the Ripper. This focuses only on the five victims lives from their childhoods to circumstances that led to them living on the streets. #bookphotography ☀️
The only thing I liked about this book was the beautiful descriptions of everything Hawaii. 🌺

This is a fictionalized story woven around a real serial killer of the early 1900's New Orleans plus an added bonus of the history of the city makes for a recommended read.
This book reads like a made for TV movie and thankfully it only had 200 pages because had it been longer I would've had to bail. 🌫️
Although the subject matter was just wrong on every level the story sucks you in and you can't put this book down until the last page. ☀️🌬️

This is a well played out mystery that will keep you guessing till the end.

I used real ice and a frosty filter to get desired effect for this picture #bookphotography
Another main character that's drunk and reckless with a unsurprising/unbelievable ending
I'm definitely in the minority with that I didn't love this book. I'm an animal lover and it was hard reading about constant animal killing, yes it was important to the storyline and I thought it would stop at some point...it didn't.
I took this at Eden Gardens State Park but used a dark filter to fit the Gothic theme of this book. I've seen mixed reviews but I have to say I liked this one.

I made this earlier today, first time making New York Cheesecake. Getting ready to give it a try while kicking back with Joe Hill 😉
I won this book on Goodreads and it came with a gift, a nutcracker in a pretty bag. It's heavy duty quality made to last, I love it! The author also wrote a personal message inside the book
Excellent read! A true story of a Army plane going down in New Guinea during WWll, 3 injured survivors and no way to get them out
I grew up in the Bay area of California in the 70's and 80's and remembering this all over the news but I was young and only half paid attention, now to use this same technology to catch the Zodiac (if still alive) that hit even closer to home. It is a great 4th July since they've caught the monster
