"Hey!" Riley whispered, tiptoeing after him. "Pssst! What are you doing? You can't just go wandering around somebody's yard"

"Of course I can," Emerson said. "Look at me. I'm doing it."

Ok, so I'm not sure what to expect in this new series. I really loved Lizzy and Diesel until last book (which I'm convinced I need to give it another shot) but this one sounded intriguing enough to push through my reluctance.

A quick and fun read. I love that the story was narrated by Love. That put a good spin on it.

Nonfiction reads are hard for me to finish since my curious mind wants to devour anything and everything, but Mastermind has me returning for more information, pushing on past part one. Konnikova's writing has a nice blend of facts and research. She also makes sure to keep it Sherlock-focused which is what hooked me in the first place.

Another one that looks like is going to be a good read, especially since it speaks to the letter writer in me. Can't resist a story told about letters or through letters.

I came across this while searching for "best friends to lovers" story and wasn't disappointed. Schiller does a good job alternating perspectives between Kyle and Laine. It was exciting to see what would happen in the end.

My eyes kept coming back to this one because as interesting as it sounded I was unsure of the whole "at first sight" concept. However, I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely read this one again. The plot has just enough realism in this teenage romance to satisfy the skeptic in me. It doesn't drag on as well and I almost want a sequel to see where these two end up.

Told with a blend of letter writing and narrative, P. S. I Like You quickly stole a spot on my list of favorite reads. The ones you can read over and over again without getting bored.

I have to say, Konnikova is making a lot of sense and doing a good job in explaining such a complex subject.

I have to say, Konnikova is doing a great job comparing Sherlock's thinking and methods with current research and facts.

This was such a good addition to the already amazing series. Arcana Rising picks up where Dead of Winter left off. It adds depth to the overall story arch, moves the story along, and sets us up nicely for the next installment. You can't help but feel the story coming to a peak. Can't wait for the next one!

Downloaded to my Kindle yesterday, but reading this as slow as possible on purpose so the next installment isn't too far away (Aug 15 - Arcana Rising) :)

The conclusion to the Raven Cycle wrapped up the story nicely. After some thought, the only part I was unhappy with was that it ended leaving me wanting so much more. The story was really good. The characters were good. And even though I'm sad for it ending, I wouldn't change it.

JSW Really? I thought this was the best of the series. 8y
411Junkie Truthfully, I'm biased since my favorite character ... *sniffs*. My grief tainted this review, lol. Aside from that sadness (and I love how it was done, I'm just sad) I loved it. Perhaps I should change it to love since I'm being unfair, lol. 8y

Another great addition to this already intriguing world. The story still holds the attention of the reader without dragging the story on. This book focuses mainly on a trio of characters but it feels this is prepping us for the events to come in the remaining installments. 411junkie.com

The story picks up right after the first book ends introducing more characters while keeping the intrigue and excitement of what we know so far. This book builds on the foundation laid in Poison Princess, adding more mystery (and more excitement). 411junkie.com for full review.

After rereading this one for the umpteenth time, it's still an exciting read. Cole does such a good job building the stage for this new world and her characters have depth with the potential to grow over the course of this story. Full review at 411junkie.com.

An excellent continuation of The Raven Cycle. This book takes place shortly after the events of The Raven Boys and it adds to the overall story plot as well as carries its own.
