I was happy when I paid a visit to my local library, and I saw the sequel was available. Definitely a page Turner. I know I said the 1st one was good, but this one was great as well. The characters were well put together, and the plot wasn't boring or dry. Brick and Storm are writing some good material.

A long read, but worth reading about the real lives of a people you stepped out on a bigger dream so their family can have a future.

Picked this book up from the library. Never expected it to be a page Turner, but it was. It was different than most urban novels, but good story line. Ms. Claudette was wise and I liked how she did right and more wrongs as well. Will read the next book even if comes out.

One of the perks about working the late shift is I can catch up on my reading. The score was good from start to ending, kinda of a short read but was worth the read. The characters are good. Worth checking out.

Picked this book up at my local library. Enjoyed reading it. I appreciate the author's honesty and his struggles with trying to overcome and do better.
