Very immersive from one of the best fantasy authors. 2nd read as good as the first.
1st case was a very fast read for me, but I'm still confused about how a “FBI hero“ was friends with a high school student that gave her an internship, but ignoring the character building, the plot was fun.
Sequel to Dune, it is good. Easier to understand in my opinion, and highlights how people always want a revolution.
The book was amazing, hard to read at times from trying to comprehend what was real between visions and reality.
Wake of Vultures was an annoying read, written in western dialect that was hard to push through all of the little drama the main character went through that was hard to sympathize with.
Vengeful was an amazing sequel to vicious and showed how the characters try to cope, and how people try to abuse powers given to them, and could potentially ruin or rule a city and affect many people, and even if someone is taken out of the picture, someone else will take the seat and continue the work.
Vicious highlights how science and experiments on things not meant to be manufactured can be something that is not good for the experimenters or subjects, and how surviving through life and death circumstances can mess someone up.
The book was good and give a nice insight on how scientific experimentation on humans, even when you think the person has nothing and the only thing you can do is help, still changes a lot and affects many.
