I loved each story and its connection to food. Even more, I loved that these connections were constructed in cycles of people with ingredients and those ingredients bringing people together.

Incredibly well written book! Adam Makos really did his research and included details from both the air and land during the Korean War. The Korean War is overshadowed by the greatness of WWII and the controversy of the Vietnam War. Therefore, I was excited to find a book that was full of facts as well as a gripping story of heroism.
