I was due for a reread of my all-time favorite novel!

I'm in my classics era (again)! I'm reading Wuthering Heights for the first time this year. I'll reread it in December since I read it every Christmas!

I am enjoying some fantasy. A really bad family emergency has me down and frightened and I require a new world to escape to!

Thanks to the author, I get to enjoy this before it returns to KU!

I was dying for a mythology-spicy romance retelling, and I got a mythology-spicy romance retelling!

I have officially taken on my 6th author for my PA services!!!! I'm so excited about this. I am currently reading the first book in her series, that way I can gain more material for promo usage in the near future!

Had to drop the other two romance novels I was reading because I wasn't feeling them currently. I'll definitely be reading them at a later time, but I'm in a bit of an Omegaverse and vampire romance mood. So, I decided to start the Poisonverse series!

When you're reading so much smut that you need to read a different book from a different genre while you flip between two smutty novels! It's a nice change of pace!

I've been dying to read this series forever, and now I'm doing it! The best part is that it has LGBTQ+ representation!

So, we're in Pride Month. I have been reading books by authors who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and books with LGBTQ+ representation. So far, I've read Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk, and Fluids by May Leitz. Now, I'm reading Not All Himbos Wear Capes by C. Rochelle! Happy Pride Month to those who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community like I am, and thank you to those who have shown us the support we need and deserve!

I figured you guys would appreciate a little background of my meltdown from last night. I want everyone to know that I'm ok, I'm not quitting what I do because I love it too much to just give it up, and I'm learning how to not give a damn so that the next time something like this happens, I can just brush and laugh it off! ❤

Part 1

Reading is starting to lose it's fun because of all the reader shaming and gatekeeping I've been becoming subject to due to my love for a certain book I'm reading. This saddens me because reading is my passion, and that passion is dying out! 😭😭😭😭😭

I'm so excited to be reading this! I underestimated it thinking it wouldn't be as good as I thought because of all the negative reviews, but once I started it, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm absolutely LOVING this book so far!!! The author autographed it for me, and sent me two other autographed copies for a giveaway on Instagram! Ill share a photo of the autograph. This may be one of my all-time favorite books I've read this year! ❤

Sometimes when reviewing books, you come across a book that you just cannot finish, and this book was it for me. I really wanted to like this book, and the author and his friends had this book so hyped up that I thought it would blow my mind away. Sadly, that wasn't the case. The characters were so unlikable, the dialogue felt like a B-Movie script, and the sexual component felt like the author was trying too hard. I have to rate this a half star!

I've been dealing with a lot of mental health problems and it led to me falling behind in my book reviews on Instagram. Now that I'm better, I'm finally hitting that massive backlog of ebooks I need to read and review! First up: "Stealing Venice" by Anna Erikssön Bendewald!
