This is what happens when you read Nineteen Eighty Four in Two Thousand Seventeen. Post-It bonanza.

So proud of our library! Built about 1855, overlooks the Oswego Canal and Lake Ontario. (NY) It's the oldest public library still in its original building in the United States. Gerrit Smith was a prominent abolitionist and he agreed to put up the money for the building, stipulating that it "shut out no person on account of their race, complexion, or condition." We were inclusive before it was a thing. ?

RadicalReader @Bluestocking what a gorgeous library can't believe you're so fortunate to go to such a lovely literary place 7y

"There was truth and there was untruth, and if you clung to the truth even against the whole world, you were not mad." Yep it was time for a reread. #currentread

A story of mounting evil that is astoundingly prescient about the dark rabbit hole of the social media landscape today.

Battling poisonous snakes and deadly insects, Preston joins an exploratory team in an attempt to find an ancient civilization deep in the rain forest in Honduras. A team of archaeologists, photographers, and adventurers find what seems to be Mosquitia, this mythical civilization. Ethical disagreements, political considerations, and a mysterious disease that affects almost half of the team add tension to an already thrilling real-life adventure.

Stark- powerful- a haunting, disturbing story told entirely in office stamps. Just one of my fave reads of August. #septphotochallenge
