While I was reading I found many connections like poverty, environmental destruction, and etc. The protagonist is trying to help with these problems, while also uniting their people. Throughout the section of the story that I was reading there were many occurences where the protagonist had to sacrifice an important object/person to help fix a problem.

Three thousand years ago, Chen Xiao was the strongest of the Wind Moon Continent's top ten Martial Gods. He and his good brother Ling Xiao had led the other Martial Gods into the God Realm to search for treasures, but when they found a strange little pagoda, they were assassinated by Ling Xiao. In the end, his divine form was destroyed, and his most beloved woman was also suppressed by Ling Xiao inside the Demon Suppressing Pagoda.

TDG certainly is a superb novel. Like all novels it has its good parts and bad parts, but I think I won't be exaggerating by saying it is a quintessence of what a reincarnation novel should look like.If you read Tales of Demons and Gods you get: a main character that's more brain than brawn; supporting characters that do bring something into the story and a reasonable rise in power of side characters and enemies.

This light novel is purely amazing and I absolutely love it. It is a “from zero to hero“ type of novel and the author has written it in a very unique way. The main protagonist is very overpowered, after receiving a god tier ability which allowed him to get stronger at a terrifying rate with a game system. I really enjoyed reading this novel and I certainly do not regret spending my time reading it at all.

As I read through the book, there have been many times were the author used specific language to convey the a background. An example is when I was in a chapter it was talking about a scene were the protagonist was running away from a villain, in a swamp.

This novel is amazing and a must read for those who love evil/ruthless main characters.The world building is great and is done at a pace that does not overwhelm while it let us waiting for more. In this aspect the tales of Ren Zu plays a great part, said tales are relatable even to modern day to day (while in some cases may be seen as the diary of a psychopath, forsaking love and lying to achieve his own goals).

In the story I noticed that there have several planets as the setting for the book, I feel that if the story continued on earth than, that would make it much more interesting. If it were to stay in earth than the antagonist would have make their own secret lair on earth. I also remembered that in the story Meg Murry's father who was a brilliant physicist might not disappear in the story.
