Super fast moving and engrossing, would be the perfect airplane book if not for -- well, yeah. But bring it to the beach! Or on a train. It is the land-based page-turner of the summer.

I'm sure this book was intentionally released right before the Olympics, but for me it is putting a damper on watching women's gymnastics. (That's okay. Megan Abbott deserves a gold medal in writing.)
