Creative parallel storylines with love and wit had me on board until the second half of the book. I like the imagining of Mary Shelley as she was writing Frankenstein and the exploration of life of Ry. Unfortunately the ends of both storylines fell flat for me- with scenes that seemed unnecessary and left me wanting and not in the right way.
