Fascinating, gripping, sad, soul destroying, factual, eye opening, important topic. As harrowing as it is, everyone should take the time out to read this book and think about its message.

Fab book! Great to have the story told from a fathers perspective and the worries parents face. The juxtaposition of a fragile human life against the stone and bricks of a restored cathedral was a nice angle too. Highly recommend.

Loved this book! Yes a very easy, laid back read but sometimes that's all you want from a book. The story was so relatable and transports you back to being a 16/17 year old in love. You feel and care for the characters and more importantly have hope for them. A swift read I did in less than 2 days - I just hope we revisit the life of Eleanor and Park in a follow up book soon!!!

A very strange read in my opinion, having said that I think the book maybe better than the film (only seen the film trailer and that looks just as strange!)

This book was different to anything I have read before. I flipped from totally loving the concept in some chapters to it being just average in others. I found myself caring about the characters but wasn't impressed with the ending. However I am glad I read it for the change of scenery!
