Spirit Animals: Book 2: Hunted | Maggie Stiefvater

This book was very good. After reading the first one in the series I made quick work of it reading it in two days. I dont want to say much about it in case someone wants to read it but the premise of the series is that there are four kids who all have summoned a spirit animal, but not just any spirit animals. They have summoned the four fallen. They must build connections with the team and also their animals if they want to save Erdas.

This book is amazing. After my second time reading it I understand the concepts more clearly and now that I‘m older also that helps. The reason I love this book is mainly because it has to do with animals and i love animals. If you haven‘t read it yet i would recommend it. 10/10 would read again

Cfischbuch Sometimes it‘s good to go back and re-read a favourite, I like that you now have insight into elements of story and writing that make it enjoyable. Thanks for your review. 5y
MrsBabki Great job, Cohen! It is true. You read it with a different set of eye each time you take it on. 5y

American Ace | Marilyn Nelson
Panpan

American Ace is a novel in verse about an Italian boy who finds out that his grandfather is not actually his biological grandfather. His biological grandfather is a member of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American military aviators in the US armed forces.
I personally didn‘t like this book because it reads as if you are watching paint dry even if it‘s only 120 something pages long. I don‘t recommend this book, but it is a short read.

Cfischbuch Thanks for your honest review. Can you identify what was lacking? 5y

I‘m almost done re-reading this awesome seven book series.

Micheal Vey is a young adult, science fiction, action book series with a bit of romance sprinkled in. It is about a boy who has electric powers, and has to keep them a secret. He finds out that there are others like him, and teams up with them to try and destroy the evil Dr. Hatch.
I highly recommend trying out this series!

I LOVED this book!!! It‘s a hilariously funny quick graphic novel, but a little inappropriate for younger readers.

Cfischbuch Looks and sounds hilarious. I love that you included your cat in the photo and he‘s like “meh”. 5y
GatlinPozzi I think you should keep that book away from your car just in case he/she can read 5y
