Oh my gosh, I loved this book so much! It‘s the 5th instalment in the Miss Peregrines peculiar children series. It jumps strait into the action, and there is never a dull moment. It ended on a huge cliffhanger and that‘s about all I can say without spoiling too much. I can‘t wait for the 6 one to come out!!

Mrs.Oliver Sounds great! 5y

I am so enjoying this book so far, I‘m about half way through and still have about 450 pages left. It‘s the 2nd book in the Eragon series.

MrsBabki Good for you! I can‘t do it! Impressive! 5y

This book just didn‘t stick with me, for me it was way too slow and, just not what I thought it was going to to be

jeannasser It seems slow at first but I think you could get used to Bardugo's writing style after a few more chapters. I hope you can continue reading later :) 5y

Wo. This book was another amazing book written by Kwame Alexander, another novel in verse with an amazing meaning behind it, again, I would recommend it to anyone who likes a captivating read and a novel in verse

MrsBabki I love a novel in verse! I swear I would have read more as a teenager if I had access to that style of writing! 5y

There was too many people and half were dead so, didn‘t know whether it was like a memory or a different person, it was too confusing to enjoy 😔

Cfischbuch Thanks for your honest review. 5y
MrsBabki I have to agree with Fish! I love when people are honest. There are a few books that have confused me just the same. 5y

I really enjoyed this book, although the theme and content could be a bit disturbing for some people, but James Patterson does such a good job at his books that it‘s hard not to continue reading. The plot and the plot twist was unforeseen but shocking, definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a captivating read and a good mystery

Cfischbuch There‘s a reason he is the richest author in the world... he knows how to entertain and captivate his reading audience. (That and he publishes 7 or 8 adult titles/year. 5y
MrsBabki Haven‘t read this - a title I must add. 5y

Compared to the first book this book disappointed me. The first book had action and suspense straight from the beginning, but this book had those, at a very low level. It made me pretty sad.

Cfischbuch Sorry, I guess they can‘t all be winners. I think it is sometimes difficult for an author to maintain momentum after the first book (and sometimes writing a stand-alone title should be okay.) Thoughts? 5y
GatlinPozzi I totally agree on a stand-alone title being ok, and sometime that‘s perfect 5y

I enjoyed this book and stayed up way too late finishing reading it, it was worth it. This book has a similar story structure and plot as The Maze Runner.
I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a book with lots of cliffhangers and action.

Cfischbuch Nice job on the review and summary. I appreciate the read-alike comparison. 5y

I really enjoyed this book, at first I thighs it was going to be another book about someone‘s life being terrible but, I actually enjoyed it. It was different in the sense of how his life was terrible and how his cousin ruined it that I enjoyed. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys and fun read.

Cfischbuch I liked it too. 5y

It was a very short book as it is a novel in verse, weird to read because there is no plot and no solution, just observation of 47 people and how one suicide can affect all these people in any way shape or form.
I feel like the author is very aware and worried about the suicide rate among teenagers, hence the what the book is about. The genre of this book is poetry. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy a novel in verse.

So far, so good. What I have so far is that, six children were taken when they were in kindergarten never seen again until 11 years later when only five of them show up as 16 year olds with no memory of the past 11 years. You would say that if you enjoy si-fi/ mystery books then this would be a good pick for you. And I feel like the tone and of this book would be sad and depressing.

MissYaremcio I love the format of your picture! Make sure you include all elements of the assignment in your post (you were missing the pacing)! 5y

A fantastic book, it focuses on 4 main characters on the day before D-day, a spy, a medic, a paratrooper, and Dee a regular trooper. If you like books about wars/ WWII you will like this book. After reading this, I could tell that the author is very passionate about WWII with how much research he puts into his books

Cfischbuch Great review. 5y
