I think I went into this expecting another everything leads to you-ish book and it's not what I'm getting. I'm enjoying it just not as much as I expected
Starting we are okay by Nina LaCour next and can we talk about how pretty these end pages are
I'm trigger warning the crap out of this book because this could do some serious damage to people who weren't expecting it but this book had so many twists that I could have never seen coming
Goodbye days is about Carver, our MC, who is dealing with the death of his best friend due to texting and driving. He feels that he is responsible for the crash that took his friends lives because well, they were responding to his text after all. Several different family members of the deceased also think Carver is to blame so much so that the district attorney decides to open a criminal case against carver.
"Under no circumstances should one ever inform a spirit they are, in fact, deceased. It is better for them to remain ignorant regarding the extent of their capabilities, which they will almost certainly use maliciously"
