Amanda LoveLace's "The Princess Saves Herself In This One" isn't what I thought it would be. Her poems are scattered around not matching up with the chapters. The book being revolved around two types of pains she felt instead of her growing into a queen. I also personally felt like the poems were kind of weak. She had maybe one or two that spoke out to me. It really isn't a must have.

Milk and Honey | Rupi Kaur

Pickpick

It was first on twitter when I saw Milk and Honey. I thought it was going to be another one of those overrated books that everyone likes because everyone is talking about it. But it turned out to be so much more. Kaur talks about four things: the hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing. Reading every heartfelt poem I was never disappointed with the next. Poems on sensitive topics rape, abuse, embracing yourself, and a mothers love.
