Like her Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them is full of wonder and magic! There are many adorable creatures that Rowling's describes beautifully and new and different characters that I already love as much as the originals This book is without a doubt a PICK!

The story was definitely sad, but beautifully written! The narrator, Ellery, is an extremely well written and developed character, as well as the people around her. Also, the mystery of the characters' pasts is a great way to keep people reading! Most definitely a pick!

The characters in this book were very unique and had very interesting and insightful ways of looking at the world. All and all, the book was okay, but I found the plot rather boring at times and sometimes seemed random. The end of the book is also beautiful, but also seems rather abrupt. However, the book created a great picture of the time period,people's lives, and the character had many thoughtful quotes and ideas.

You know a book is good when it makes you cry! The author has such a beautiful poetic style of writing, and the book is full of amazing quotes. The characters are all unique, and it's easy to get attached to the boys as they show you the obstacles they face in overcoming prejudice because of their sexuality. Incredibly moving, emotional, and wonderfully woven together, there is no way to describe how amazing this book is!

Like in his other books, Riordan puts a funny modern twist on old Norse Mythology. A fast paced adventure, vivid descriptions, Magnus's never ending sarcasm, and Riordan's signature humor make this book a defiant pick!
