Now that I have finished ‘The Glass Castle‘ Jeanette has gotten the life she has always been working for. Her and her siblings moved to New York, and a bit later so did Rex and Rose Mary (her parents). Jeanette got married and is living the life she dreamed of. A few years later her father passed away.

So far the book is about a girl named Jeannette who lives with her mother father and three siblings. Her family isn‘t wealthy and moves around lots from home to home.
If you like books about poverty, or independence you will like this book!
I think a theme is this novel would be independence, though out the novel we hear about how much Jeanette really had to do for her self, like how she was making her own hot dogs at such a young age.
