Book 77/100 of the year.
I absolutely loved this book. I couldn‘t put it down. It‘s a real page turner. If you love cafes and small towns and Gilmore Girls then you will love this book. I would recommend reading it. It is such a wonderful story. The book is also a part of a series. I plan on buying books two and three soon.
**my brother got me a kindle so I‘ve been blowing through some books without reviewing, apologies up top for the inundation of reviews by me and terrible pics**
Just so disappointed- wanted a cozy, fall read and this wasn‘t it. Cozy and fall…. Sure. Entertaining and engaging…. Not even a little bit. Incredibly boring 2âï¸
This story was okay but cute. I liked the fall atmosphere, the small town
people, their gossips and drama. The romance part was “so-soâ€, those “spicy†scenes were sometimes boring🙄maybe because they sounded too cheesyðŸ˜
Jeannie inherited this cafe from her Aunt Dot and with this change in her life she will start a new, fresh beginning. But she started to hear some strange noises at the cafe and Logan, a local farmer who supplies products⬇ï¸
Cute, cozy and hit all of the fall vibes! I can‘t wait to spend more time in Dream Harbor!
I was drawn to this book by the Gilmore Girls references in other reviews. I thought I was going to get a light fluffy autumnal read set in a small town not too dissimilar to Stars Hollow. What I got was Mills and Boon crossed with 50 shades! Not quite the vibe I was going for. It was ok but not the best!
Jeanie is left a small town cafe, she takes a chance for a new start, leaving her stressful financial job behind. The cafe is the gossip hub for the town, Jeanie‘s happy go luck arrival disrupts local moody farmer, Logan‘s, daily routine. The town is full of quirky characters and it gave definite Gilmour Girls vibes. A quick and easy read which was totally predictable. A cosy romantic mystery that is perfect for autumn reading.
A total blame it on Litsy read 🤣ðŸðŸ“–
I knew going into the book that it was not the next great American novel. It‘s fluff. That‘s fine I like fluff on occasion. This was good fluff, with a little mystery and a little humor… and a little spice bear the end. It was a good light hearted read. I will try to read the next in the series.
This really ticked the “fall†boxes for me! I needed a little break from horror and thrillers. This is a romance between a brand new small town cafe owner—a real fish-out-of-water from the big city—and a sexy farmer with abandonment issues. It‘s a small town romance with a lite mystery set during the fall. So cute! Although there are a couple of love scenes that felt more spicy than the rest of this cute, cozy story. Still, I loved it!ðŸ‚🎃☕ï¸
Cute and cosy 🧡ðŸ‚🎃🧡 but the spelling and punctuation errors were wick and the overuse of certain phrases set my teeth on edge 😒🙄
I loved the setting, and I liked the characters. But I think the book went on a bit too long. But I did still enjoy it.
I absolutely did not buy this book for Autumn photos 😉🧡🎃ðŸ‚
For fans of Gilmore Girls in search of some pumpkin fluff with a bit of pumpkin spice on the side! This is a nice cozy romance that really amps up all the fall feels. It‘s the start of a new series, so I look forward to the next one (but okay - I know the author is a huge GG fan, but if her name isn‘t *actually* Laurie Gilmore, did she have to choose such an obvious pen name??).
The benefit of being sick for the last 4 days? A bit of book reading! This was a delight-small town romance, a little suspense, all the fall feels, sexy farmer, and a little spice. Great kick off for October! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
