I had a girl crush on Anna Kendrick before this book and my crush was firmly intact after. Anna writes in a way that's relatable to everyone. She's someone who seems so down to earth and true to herself. I want to drink wine, eat pizza, and laugh with her every day. Read this, now

I hated this book. I hated the main character, who felt whiny to me. I hated most of all that it felt like I'd already read this book. This seemed to be so much like The Night Circus that it was painful. I was moved and intrigued by the world in The Night Circus getting drawn into the circus world. This book even halfway through still hasn't drawn me in.

I listened to the audio book for this one, it was halarious. This kid like most of us, at a young age, has no idea that he's his holding himself back. Also, this is a perfect comparison to adult life. Most of us are standing in our own way.

I loved this book.. Slightly predictable, but the story was well written and a new spin that I didn't mind. I think there's a sequel coming.
