Dorthea as a character is absolutely infuriating. The story and the world this story takes place in are whimsical and relatable. For a younger teen it's the perfect read!

Westerfeld has done it again in the first book introducing super heroes for the modern era in an intriguing new way that hasn't been over done.

The world this story takes place in is fascinating and intriguing but the characters and plot are boring and predictable. Very similar to the hungry games, I still haven't decided if I'm reading the sequel or not.
