pickWhile not my favorite of the series so far, it was still really good. There were some slow parts in the middle, but the ending was action packed. There were a couple of scenes that almost had me sobbing. I‘m still so in love with these characters, and I love that there was more development in the relationship between our MC and her sisters. I can‘t wait to see what else happens…

This series continues to be “just okay” for me. For some reason I don‘t feel that attached to the characters and often felt bored with the story. I don‘t think SJM‘s writing is really for me, but I can appreciate why she‘s popular! 🎧

pickI laughed, I cried, I was excited, I finished it. I still think I liked the second book better, but this is a great main trilogy. I'll be taking a short break before I fully jump into A Court of Frost and Starlight; I'm working on some of my other library check-outs. This one was just so satisfying that I feel I need to have a little pause to let it sink in and really sit with everything that's happened over the course of these first three books.

pickThat was a long one! Went all the way from Feyre faking it in Tamljn‘s court to starting and ending the war with Hybern! Lots of exciting revelations in here.
pickI nearly stopped reading a few chapters from the end. I was displeased. But she pulled it out in the end and even ended on a vaguely ominous happy note. On to the next in the series. #28-2025

pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️There is a reason I make myself wait 2 years before I reread these books. Because this is my 4th time reading this & I still cried & cried (& cried) through so many heart-breaking & breath-taking moments. Last time I read this one I remember finding it a bit tedious, but I didn‘t feel that way this time. Excellent wrap up to the first section of this story.
Ps.It‘s honestly shocking how many Suriel things there are in my house 🥰💀

Feyre‘s trying to keep her promise to the Suriel and trying to make the world a better place. Rhys…giving everything- so like him. Such a great character. And Tamlin finally moving on - redemption there I think. We‘ll finish the book tomorrow since there‘s not much left.

Or does she have her own motivations at this point? I was shocked but maybe I shouldn‘t have been. We can‘t forget that Amren is not like the others and never has been. Also, I‘m kinda loving Nesta now - it has come full circle and I want to see her story with Cassian. ⬇️
pickI couldn‘t take it anymore and I had to finish! I can‘t say too much because I read this with the #LittensLoveRomance group, but like the previous books in the series, this one is also an emotional roller coaster. The author has a great talent for writing tension and twists!

Those battle scenes are tense! I think Feyre‘s right though, they need to learn Hybern‘s true plans. Maybe bothering the Suriel yet again is the right move. Hope it‘s not tempting fate.

Their marriage wouldn‘t have worked even when she was human. Now it‘s just impossible.

Now they just have to interpret what she sees. Which may be tricky.

But I do think they‘ll need both the sisters‘ new powers to defeat Hybern. It‘ll be all hands on deck. So how to convince them? ⬇️
