so-soI love Mindy!!! I was excited to read this and I thought I would be laughing at loud, but it just wasn't what I expected. It had some good stories and relatable moments but overall I just couldn't fully get into it.
pickI've read this book to two of my past 5th grade classes. It's a great way to teach them about being kinds and not judging a book by its cover. Also that there's always another side to a story. Lots of great teaching points plus it's relatable for 5th graders because the main character Auggie is also in the 5th grade. Students enjoyed it as well as myself!
