Freakin amazing book. If Hamilton cooks half as good as she writes Prune must be a mesmerizing dining experience.

This is the first novel I've read by Chuck Klosterman. It's been on the shelf for years and when it's finally read I must say it was surprising in many ways. First of all it wasn't as much about music as you'd think, even though more than most other books. Secondly, I didn't really like any of the characters but still found myself caring about them in the end.
It's a good book, I would still say Klosterman is at his best wen writing non fiction.
Just finished the wonderful Tomato red by Daniel Woodrell (translated to Swedish).
Even though it was not as strong as Winters Bone it is still something extraordinary. Woodrell has so much love for the the people on the wrong side of the tracks.
Incredibly well written novel. I read Fortress of Solitude in English but reading this in my native language Swedish. I can not stop getting amazed of Lethems talent.
