This is the longest it has ever taken me to finish a book. It‘s not my typical read and I had a really hard time getting into it. My partner LOVES The Witcher; the books, the game and the new show. When I felt like I needed to mix up my reading he suggested The Witcher. I didn‘t dislike the book it just isn‘t the type of thing I typically choose and didn‘t feel connected. Starting a different book before I continue the series.

Since finishing City of Girls I haven‘t been able to get into another book enough to keep reading. I felt like I was in a readers block (that‘s a thing, right?), hence my 5 month hiatus. I took a break from reading altogether and than needed that escapism again. But this time I wanted to try something out of character for me. My boyfriend has been a loong time fan of The Witcher and suggested I give it a go. I am only five chapters in so far 👍

Spent the weekend camping and FINALLY finishing this bad girl. So so good. I freaking love Elizabeth Gilbert. Thanks for yet another gem 🙌

marleed I loved this one too. I think it‘s a fun companion to Evelyn Hugo. 5y
Kalebeth @marleed Ou I will have to check that one out! I haven‘t read it but I am intrigued. Thank you 😊 5y

A Facebook memory from 2012.
Any Farley Mowat fans? 🙋‍♀️
I remember this day clearly. I had spent the morning creating dream catchers in my hammock. Than I hung them up in the trees above me and spent the afternoon reading in the hammock.

Catching up on a few chapters with an evening bath. Personally, I love her writing style and I am really digging the new novel. 🛁

The Tattooist of Auschwitz | Heather Morris (Screenwriter)
Pickpick

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, easy read. I initially thought it was going to be a bit more about his actual job as a tattooist as well as the people and situations he encountered. The friend I borrowed it from warned me it was a bit of a love story and I am grateful she had. It was a good book but I was a little less interested in the love story part. I would recommend however!

I put off finishing the last comic until the show was over. A part of me was afraid it might give something away but I think I also didn‘t want to believe it was over. I‘ve finished the comics now and Izombie is my favourite series ever. The show varies from the comic but you can see some of the things they‘ve used from the comics throughout the show. Who else loves izombie? 🙋🏼‍♀️
