Not sure where this tale of a lost childhood is going but I enjoy listening.

Brilliant memoir written by a young British journalist who moved to Denmark for a year when her husband got a "big shiny job" working for Lego in Billund, Jutland. When, prior to the move,Helen Russell keeps seeing studies that place Denmark as the world's happiest country she decides to spend the year investigating what it is that makes the Danes so happy. Enlightening, amusing and entertaining read, especially for readers who know DK already.
Listening to the final chapter of "The last painting" while walking around the Whitney Museum in NYC and looking at portraits is a special experience.
Great book, great museum!
Flying to the fabulous Newburyport Literary Festival near Boston and reading May Sarton's beautifully written memoirs up in the air, looking forward to seeing the sea!
