In the bet a banker and lawyer argue about whether or not they would be able the banker should stay in solitary confinement for a certain number of years or not.They entered the bet because they both want the money. People think that money will lead them to success and make them happy.

It's hard for her to transition to her new school from her old deaf school, because people speak to her not knowing she's deaf. The things she doesn't like are she has to have a chaperone everywhere she goes. Also she got hit in the head with a basketball and fell to the ground.

His decision is difficult and complex because he's a perfectionist and choosy with his haircut design. He also is trying to choose whether to kill him or keep himself safe. He made the right decision by not killing him so it keeps him safe. It shows he's smart and careful. It tells us that humans are judgmental and can be selfish.

My book is about a girl named Julie being expelled from her Deaf high school. She gets snitched on by her best friend for spraying graffiti on the wall. After getting expelled she has to go to a new school. Her new school isn't a Deaf high school. She has to learn to get used to her new school, routine, and friends.
