My first Louise Penny and I definitely enjoyed it. It encompasses everything I look for in a mystery novel and the setting and humor was excellent. Now onto the next in the series or something completely different?

Finished this book this morning. I figured it would be up my alley and I wasn‘t disappointed . A fun read.
Out of the few books I read last week this was my favorite. I listened to it on audio and the format worked really well and was exactly what I was in the mood for. I learned so much about Walt Disney, Ub Iwerks, the Disney corporation beginnings, and the art of early animation. The relationships between people connected by art and innovation was enthralling. I fully enjoyed it.
I have been pushing this down my TBR for what seems like forever. Finally nabbed a copy from the library this week and I think this is one of my new favorites. I loved this book so much.
So excited that this library hold came in.
The Insulating snow, lack of distinct horizon, and the cold solitude is captivating. -77 with a "real feel" of -100 though is no joke. I've been on cold, isolated climate kick lately so any recs would be awesome. Really enjoying the atmosphere and characters in this book.
