Wither | Lauren DeStefano
Pickpick

DeStefano's debut novel is and, will always be one of my all time favourite YA novels. It is a wonderful story set in the near future with an incredible setting. As the main character, Rhine, grows more and more secrets are discovered. The beautifully written story will leave you on the edge of your seat until the very end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 #readjanuary

Delirium | Lauren Oliver
Mehso-so

Delirium by Lauren Oliver was a lovely Romeo and Juliet based YA novel set in the near future. The idea of love being a disease, and a quote/ blurb at the beginning of every chapter really set it off. There where moments in the story that seemed to drag along, much like I found Replica to, but the thrilling ending surely made up for that, and brought a tear to my eye. ⭐️⭐️⭐️3/5 #readjanuary

I love Cass as an author, but the end to the Selection Series seemed to be the most dull of the books. Even though everyone got their own happily ever afters, I think the should have been a little more action or suspense. I expected a little more of a bang for the finale. ⭐️⭐️⭐️3/5

The story seemed to drag along at some points and was a little dull. Oliver really seemed to make up for it though, through the complexity of the mystery and the relatable characters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️3/5

A quick read with many twists and turns. A great final end to the series, and the characters are relatable and well described. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4/5

"This is a dandelion," I told him. He shrugged. "I know. Some see a weed; some see a flower. Perspective."
