It's been a while since a book made me cry. He was hilarious throughout and I literally heard his voice as I read it. The ending prompted the ugly cry. Now I'm in love with Trevor AND his mom.
Am I the only person who reads a memoir in the voice of the author? Just into the second chapter and I'm laughing yet aghast at a few jaw dropping moments. I thought I knew everything about apartheid. I had no idea.
It's rare that I would consider reading a book multiple times but if time wasn't an issue this one would definitely be back on my TBR list. I really needed Jen's common sense tell it like it is realness in the midst of what I call "what the heck am I doing with my life crisis?!" #PassionTrumpsFear #LoveYourself
A few pages in and I was hooked. Like any suspense/thriller my prime suspect changed throughout however could not put it down because I just needed to know was that the baby okay. The ending was shocking however the author set it up so that we had to see it coming. Great book!

"But you're so helpless sometimes. It's like watching a kitten with its head trapped in a Kleenex box." Literally made me laugh out loud.
