The Palace of Illusions portrays Mahabharatham from Paanchali's point of view. The book has portrayed a possible different side of her's in a way meant to be catpivating. The story is engaging, masterfully crafted and 100% entertaining.

I picked up this book out of the curiosity as to why everyone is raving about it. I went into the book without much expectations and to say that I completely fell in love with the story won't be enough. The author has done a tremendous job in crafting a story that is engaging, powerful, emotional, beautiful, soul-stirring and yet so simple. You can't help but fall in love with Ove and every other character. Highly recommended.
