Excellent, fast-paced police procedural with good, strong characters and great writing. Highly recommended for mystery fans.

Nice story about a small town in rural Virginia with fun, quirky characters. Downside is the inconsistent main character who is strong and smart one minute and dense and whiny the next.

Great read, good characters, almost nonstop action. Can't wait to read the next book.

Had a difficult time with Gone Girl. I have to have at least one character to connect with when reading but everyone in this book was horrible - except for the cat! I thought it was clever but just didn't care for it.

I close my eyes and listen vaguely in a half sleep as he does the things he does before he sleeps each night. Brushing and squirting and splashing. So many things. People and their rituals. They cling to things so hard sometimes.
