I know it's lexa from the 100 but she always reminded me of Feyre in Illyrian fighting leathers.

Wow, I adore Renee Ahdieh books but so far this one is my favorite. It's certainly is a Mulan retelling with a twist. I love how brilliant the main characters are, the magic tidbits added and I especially love Okami the most. I laughed so hard at the wolf's interactions with everyone. I also adore the in depth Japanese culture. It was a badass adventure with magic and some amazing friendships and romance. Can't wait for book 2 I need it now!!!

I just finished reading Blood Rose Rebellion and was pleasantly surprised. I love the concept, range of magic and the over all plot. I did at times find it very political which in the end was necessary. I also love all the old world lore and use of gypsies. Very enjoyable read, looking forward to book two.

I love Raven as a character but this short series made her take that next step. She is more relatable, respected and no longer stands in the shadows
