This story will reach in and grab your heart and not let go. The heroine, Kenna, has been through SO much, and it seems like bad luck follows her everywhere. Several times I just wanted to scream, “Will someone PLEASE give this poor girl a break?!“ But her fierce determination is so endearing, and I cheered for her throughout the entire book. I love female characters who are strong and admirable, and Kenna is certainly those things. Recommended!
