panI love this series so much. The first two I highly recommend. I like that the female lead was flawed in many many ways yet still strong and powerful in her way. The blending of time fascinates me a lot.
But the third book ... I hate it 😭 it did tie it all up but in a rushed way that made the entirety of the first two books seem utterly irrelevant. I'm gutted because it just seems like such a poor way to end a great series 😔

abookishinvasion Exactly! Like seriously. If that's gonna be the ending we basically just wasted an entire 2 books (and they aren't short!) getting to know the world and characters. It was such an easy out. It seemed lazy and rushed and annoyed me so much 😂 7y

TheBonnieNerd Exactly! It's like they meant absolutely nothing @abookishinvasion 😭 like I had so much love for them all and for it to boil down to that ... I wanted so much for a world repaired in THEIR time. And mace 😭 I don't see this becoming a film series now! 7y
abookishinvasion I was seriously so disappointed because I loved them all so much! Like it could have been amazing and she had to ruin it in the last 80 pages! And it's not even like the entire last book sucked! It was perfect. The perfect completion until that very end portion! I'll never get over the pain 😂 I feel this so hard. 7y
TheBonnieNerd Yes! I mean I wonder if it was a horrible editing choice? Because that ending just did. not. fit. It was like it was hacked in at the last minute ya know @abookishinvasion I was getting dead excited in the beginning/middle but then it all went caplooey 😭 7y
abookishinvasion Bad things happen so fast! I have no idea how Erica thought that would be a good ending. I read an interview from her talking about it and she was happy with it and I don't get it at all! It ruined so much! 7y
