all I really need is a book, chewing gum, music and travel
I first read this book a few years ago and I didn't really like it. I found the story unfinished, because I didn't know it was part of a trilogy. I was also too young to understand a lot of it. But I reread it a week ago and WOW this is a great read. I loved the way Jenny Han wrote, and I especially liked that it was real. It really made me feel like I was there. I recommend it to all love story fans and generally high school book related fans.
This book was a beautiful and unique love story. I definitely recommend it, on the other had it did bother me that at some points it was really unrealistic, but I guess that gave some of the magic to it.
I am speechless. For the first time in my life a book has left me speechless. To kill a mockingbird is without a doubt the best book I have EVER read. I ... I have literally nothing to add
Just showing my unconditional love for reading (and my cat) on April 23rd national Book day. ❤
It took me a few days to process this book, not because it was so deep, tragic or shocking. But because I couldn't quite figure what gave it such a magical feeling. I'm still, not sure, maybe the end or, the characters but it was like not a usual love story with I hate you I love you story line. The characters were real and passionate. It had something to say, the I was right there the whole way through. Thank you the writer. Absolutely recommend
The language is intense, I love it so far!
I'm slowly falling in love with the storyline.
"I want you to know I'm rooting for you. Sometimes we need to hear that. Even from a stranger" - Jennifer Niven /HOLDING UP THE UNIVERSE/
The book gave me mixed feelings. Like I was waiting for a greater ending. To be fair, I set impossible standers for this book because John Green is my all time favourite author alongside John Grisham. The book definitely says something about life, and explains what being stuck inside your head and not being able to control your own thoughts feels like. I recommend it, but it's definitely not what I call light reading. It makes you think and feel.
"I was not always stuck inside myself, or inside my selves. I wasn't only crazy."
So okay. I just finished John Grisham; The Firm two days ago and I have a lot of mixed feelings. Its a very detailed book of 624 pages. Though i read it in Hungarian It definitely improved my vocabulary. It's very very exciting and keeps you on edge till the end. I felt like it was a little incomplete there were a lot of characters who I did not get detailed information about there life after the story, but aside that it was very good. It's a pick
Abundance of Katherines is, as I believe one of the greatest YA novels of all time. I recommend it to every YA lover, and to anyone looking for a deep but humourous book.
(Sorry for the short review next will be longer😊)
