Loved this book, it is an intimate look into the up close communication between two people and displays what we all get so wrong.
It reminds me not to assume I know what someone else is thinking or, ultimately, saying behind their words.

Gutted me, absolutely loved this read. This one had me re-assessing my pre-conceived notions of others. Especially down and out looking others, and I think that‘s a good thing.

This book drew me into the solitary world of its subject and had me re-think my own relationship to being alone. It was a type of a salve to the ever present social media world.
I can‘t say I understood the guys choices, or have any desire to live as he did, but I am more ok with a little alone time.
Well written, moves along quickly but, as in life no real resolution for the hermit.
