Reading the second of the Mistborn, and having a harder time getting through it than the first. I loved the scope of that story, but this one keeps getting bogged down with unnecessary romantic drama. And ironically, as Elend fears he can't live up to Kelsier, his pov doesn't really live up to Kelsier's.

I know, I'm late to the game on this one, but I'm absolutely loving Mistborn! I devoured it and immediately went and ordered the next. So different from most fantasy, which always feels vaguely LotR inspired even when it isn't.
