My favourite childhood book is The Animals of Farthing Wood by Colin Dann. It was the first book I ever bought for myself (a month's worth of pocket money - totally worth it) and now I'm reading it with my daughters. I bought them their own copy for a proper read-along during the summer holidays.

I've been re-reading a few books this summer and am about to start Fiona Walker's Snap Happy. It's been quite a while since I read it, but I loved it at the time so hopefully I'll enjoy it just as much this time round!
